Biography

Jennifer is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington. She has a background as a school counselor who has worked with children from ages 5-18. After many years of working in the school system, she moved into the private practice setting in 2021 to work with teens, adults, and families. Personally, Jennifer is from a Haitian family where culture and language help connect individuals with each other. Being a first-generation American of immigrant parents, her own experiences drive her passion for helping others of similar backgrounds. She is bilingual and provides services in English and Creole.

She has been educated at Georgia State University with a bachelor’s in Psychology. Her master’s was completed at Georgia Southern University with a degree in Counselor Education. Her most recent degree is in Professional Counseling & Supervision from University of West Georgia.

Jennifer provides virtual counseling for people of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds who reside in the state of Washington. Her client focus are adults in the BIPOC and immigrant community. Her specialty areas include racial/ethnic identity issues, anxiety, depression, attachment issues, trauma, and spirituality. She is also a trained Level 1 Lifespan Integration therapist.
